24 Hour Golf Challenge - Raising Money for Redkite
LussoVerde is partnering with Victoria Park in the “24 Hour Golf Challenge” to raise money for Redkite, to help support Australian families facing childhood cancer.
The challenge will be hosted at Victoria Park Golf Complex where the incredible team of Lachlan Begg, Chris Burgess, Brandon Mitchell and Adam Thompson, with golf pros Tim Lynch, Anthony Newey and Tim Porter from Victoria Park, will play golf for 24 hours to raise money for Redkite. Donations to Redkite will help make a difference in the lives of families facing a childhood cancer by providing their fuel, meals and paying their utility bills.
The team will tee off at 10AM on Wednesday 26th May and play 18 continuous rounds of golf for 24 hours by foot, non-stop [NO BUGGIES on this hilly course!] When the sun goes down, the team will switch to fluorescent, glow in the dark golf balls, continuing to play through in the dark and finishing the following morning at 10AM on Thursday 27th May.
The team at LussoVerde will be joining the challenge for a round of 18, glow in the dark golf at night, to help push the team through! We will also be sponsoring the team by kitting out the players with our eco-friendly Golf Gloves for the event.
In addition, we will be donating all profits from orders placed on LussoVerde.com during the 24 hour event to Redkite.
